This cancellation and weather policy applies to all Anelakai Adventures tours departing from Keauhou Bay in Kailua-Kona, including our manta ray snorkel, Hawaiian cultural paddle, and kayak tours.
Tour Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We're a small, family-run company. Each canoe only holds 6 guests, which means every seat matters. When someone cancels last minute, that's a seat that could have gone to someone on our waitlist. We appreciate your understanding.
- 48 Hours or More Before Your Tour You can cancel or reschedule without penalty. Just give us a call at (808) 987-0377
- Less Than 48 Hours Before Your Tour No refunds or rescheduling. You will be charged the full price.
- No-Shows If you don't show up for your tour, you will be charged the full price.
- Late Arrivals We ask guests to arrive 30 minutes before departure. If you're running late, call us immediately at (808) 987-0377. If other guests are on the tour, we can't hold the canoe. If you miss your tour due to late arrival, no refund will be given.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If We Cancel Due to Weather Safety comes first. If we need to cancel due to high surf, rough ocean conditions, or unsafe weather, you'll receive a full refund.
Our guides have been paddling these waters for years. If conditions aren't safe, we don't go out. If another operator is still running tours when we've cancelled, that should tell you something about their priorities.
Other Policies
Weight Limit We have a strict 250 lb weight limit per guest. This is for the safety of yourself, our guides, and our equipment. If you are over the weight limit at check-in, you will be refused and not refunded.
Intoxication For the safety of all guests and staff, anyone who appears intoxicated at check-in will be refused. You will still be charged the full price.
Manta Ray Sightings Manta rays are wild animals. While we see them on the vast majority of tours, we cannot guarantee sightings. Because it happens so rarely we take it on a case by case basis, with our end goal for you to see Mantas.
