All Anelakai Adventures tours depart from Keauhou Bay Boat Ramp in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii’s Big Island.

Where to Find Us

Keauhou Bay Boat Ramp is the meeting point for all Anelakai Adventures tours, including our manta ray snorkel, Hawaiian cultural paddle, and kayak tours.

Keauhou Bay is located just 15 minutes south of downtown Kailua-Kona on the Big Island's Kona Coast. This calm, protected bay is the birthplace of King Kamehameha III and home to Kona's famous manta rays.

  • From Kailua-Kona (heading south on Highway 11 / Queen Kaʻahumanu Highway):

    1. Turn right at the stoplight onto Kamehameha III Road 
    2. Continue through one stoplight 
    3. Turn left at the next stoplight onto Aliʻi Drive 
    4. Turn right at the next stoplight onto Kaleiopapa Road 
    5. Look for the boat ramp on your left

    Traffic heading into Kona in the afternoons can back up, so please allow some extra time to get here and find parking.

  • From South Kona (heading north on Highway 11):

    1. Turn left onto Kamehameha III Road
    2. Turn left onto Aliʻi Drive
    3. Turn right onto Kaleiopapa Road
    4. Look for the boat ramp on your left

Parking

Free parking is available near the boat ramp and along the roadside.


Important:

  • Do NOT park in the long angled spots designated for trucks and trailers
  • Do NOT block any driveways
  • Street parking along Kaleiopapa Road is available
  • Traffic heading into Kona in the afternoons can back up, so please allow some extra time to get here and find parking.


We do not recommend leaving valuable items in your vehicle while on tour. We have a dry storage box on the canoe for keys, phones, and wallets.

When You Arrive

Look for us near the boat ramp by the light post. We'll be wearing red Anelakai shirts.


Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and get situated.
